I love writing about cities, transportation, urbanism, technology and business. But I'm also a jack of all trades and love wrapping my mind around new and interesting ideas. I replaced AP's Canada bureau chief when he went on vacation. Work was primarily centered on covering breaking and developing news. I also worked as a freelance AP stringer in Ottawa and Montreal.

CBC News

I wrote, edited and published more than 1,000 news stories for CBC in Montreal. Coverage included Lac-Mégantic train disaster, elections (municipal, provincial, federal), Quebec far-right and identity politics, cannabis legalization, gun registry, domestic terrorism, fentanyl and more. I translated dozens of French Radio-Canada stories, including complicated legal ones, for the CBC English site.
