I’m a Montreal-based freelance journalist and editor; current CBC web reporter and former (founding) editor of Cult MTL. I’ve been published by a number of Canadian publications, including the Montreal Gazette, J-Source.ca, Exclaim!, OpenFile.ca, Xtra.ca, UrbanExpressions.ca, Herizons, etc. For clips of my published work, see the portfolio page.
I worked in the student press for The Link and Canadian University Press from 2003-2007. I have a BA in journalism from Concordia University and a background in art history. For more on that, see my CV.
More importantly, I’m a traveler, an amateur photographer, a baker, a music nerd, a cat lady, a beer lover and a St-Henri dweller. Recent trips include New Orleans, Austin, Las Vegas, Moscow, St. Petersburg (RU), Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Dublin, Mexico City, Oaxaca and the Yucatan Peninsula. I also take pictures of manhole covers from around the world.
You need my writing or editing (or wicked conference coordination) skills? Have pen and passport, will travel.
